In week one of Digital Photography, we were introduced to the basic principles of the digital camera and the importance of light. To start of the journey we looked at some of our favourite photographs we have taken and our favourite form of photography.
My Favourite Photographs
Below is a selection of some of my favourite photographs I have taken since owning my first DSLR in 2012. It is important to note that I have not used manual settings and I have made alterations in Photoshop or Lightroom.
Favourite Form of Photography
I am enthralled by macro imagery and taking a magnified look at the small details that can so easily be missed. You can see the details of an insect or step into an abstract composition with textures and shapes.
To continue our week, we were required to step outside and use manual settings to capture the world around us.
Week 1 Photographs
Below are some of the photographs I have taken in manual mode. Adjusting the aperture, shutter speed and ISO. These photographs have not been edited in Photoshop or Lightroom.
