In March 2016, I started my next class at Uni, turned 29 and almost finished the kitchen.
Life Updates:
- Started my second class at Uni, which has a focus on many traditional design formats. Such as sketching, tracing, model making, collage. It has a main focus on doing things by hand, and not using computer software. This has been a challenge, because I am so used to using a computer and Illustrator or Photoshop. I have been learning a lot, which is great.Β π
- I turned 29, and was pretty okay about that. π
- I got my results from my first class at Uni and received a grade of 94% and high distinction, which put my GPA at 4.0!Β π
- I have continued the kitchen renovation and I am very close to being finished! Hopefully next month I am able to write up a full recap with the finished look!Β (:
- Have continued to be soda free, and still loosing weight.Β π
Entertainment Updates:
- Reading: Finished reading 0 books
- Movies: Watched 11Β films
- TV: 30 Rock
- Music: None
- Gaming:Β Age of Empires: Castle Siege (iPad)
Creative Updates:
- Writing: NoneΒ π
- Photography: Uploaded 29 Photos to Flickr
- Digital Design: 5 Illustrations
I hope you had a great March 2016! π

March was a good one huh? I’m so happy you are on track with where you want your health too! Your grades are looking sharp too! Congrats!
My march was pretty exciting. I got a new doll, and celebrated Easter, and did some arting with family. It was a good one for me too. π
Seems like a pretty good month! Yay for good grades! And its great you’re finally almost done with the kitchen! Also happy belated birthday! =3
Wow, congratulations on your high distinctions! I hope the new class goes well. It sounds interesting even though it’s a little out of your comfort zone.
I can’t wait to see the kitchen once it is complete!
In March I started playing Stardew Valley, to date I have played it for almost 61 hrs (eek!) and well, it’s a time sap but it helps me unwind after work. I’ve found it a lot more relaxing than other games I play. I also went to Melbourne (!), it was Jarrod and my 4 year anniversary and there was Easter! Overall, a great month for me π Unfortunately, given all those things I didn’t lose as much weight as I would have liked in March. I’m glad your weight loss is going well π
I’m not really sure what April brings. I’ve been getting more interested in cross stitch so it’s something I might look into doing and hopefully complete a few projects. Otherwise not a whole lot planned. I’m not much of a planner π
Yay for all the good things in March π Kudos to you for getting those high grades! Your hard work is paying off! Good luck with the new term and your new class! I’m sure you’ll ace that π
And I want to see your finished kitchen, too! ^^
I wish you a wonderful April, Kya!
Seems like you had a good month of March! Your Flickr photos are very good, and I totally adore those green gloves!!!!!
I don’t do much creative stuff right now, mainly photography, and I hope to play more music from now on. I have some interesting stuff coming up in April, first a trip to Italy and then a trip down south for a music event. March sucked in most ways because work has been horrible. But the good thing is that March now is over, lol.
Congrats on your grades – that’s fantastic work. I don’t know how you fit it all in!
Sounds like March has been going well for you! The class you’re taking sounds really cool. While I do like being on the computer, I still love traditional formats. Congrats on the high grade and on still being soda free!
I had a birthday in March too and spent a lot of it working on cosplay π My plans are to fully finish it this month!
It sounds like you’re learning a lot in class! Congratulations on your 4.0 GPA :)! Hard work gave you the result you wanted! Keep it up with having a soda-free lifestyle~
March was a busy month for me, but it’s mostly school stuff. I haven’t really done anything creative recently, but hopefully soon!
Congrats on everything you’ve achieved Kya, I’m so proud of you! March has been pretty busy for me and so is April coming up because I have various job interviews and exams to worry about! D:
Yay for 4.0 grade averages and generally feeling better about yourself!
April arrived so quickly, I’ve no idea what to do haha.
Good luck in your second class at uni. Congratulations on the high grade and GPA.

Seems to be a very good month. I wish I had good months, but I’m doing better π April is for me to get back on track and celebrate my husband’s birthday on April 5th. He’s turning 32 and the stark contrast to what he had before is amazing. He didn’t think he could be happy, but he is =) Amazing how it takes years for things to change in an instant.
Nah, I’m just messing with photoshop like usual and taking pictures. Glad you had an eventful month!
I am super keen to hear about the kitchen. Although you didn’t read any books, I am thrilled that you got such a high GPA. I knew you could do it. I’m so proud. ? All that hard work paid off.
It also makes me glad to hear you have kept off the soda. I have been trying not to have so much candy and to eat healthier foods. On top of that I went back to the gym and am trying to exercise more! I hope to keep it up and go regularly so I am super fit by the time I go to Europe in June haha.
Grats on that perfect GPA! (y)
Unfortunately I haven’t done anything creative recently, but I’m thinking about picking my DLSR back up (instead of selling it like I was on the fence about) and picking up some photography tutorials.
Congrats on your 4.0 GPA girl! And for being soda-free and losing weight! March was such a productive, awesome month for you! I’m glad that you’re learning so much from your class. It’s always great when a class is challenging but still beneficial.
March was great because I got to go on vacation to Colorado and take a break from school and work. So that was the perfect end to the month!
Go Kya! And keep up the good work with being soda-free. Also, I can’t wait to read more about your kitchen renovation. π
What did I do in March? I was pretty much all work and no play. But fortunately, I have a little bit of a break before I head back to school. π
March was really a busy month for me, I have neglected my blog for few weeks, making me publish only a few blog posts.
Congrats on your studies! Keep it up π And also on your zero-soda goal! π And belated happy birthday too hehe
What did you do in March? Honestly? I didn’t do much of anything – I neglected my blog; played games on Facebook: Fashland, Farmville 2, and Criminal Case; started thinking about getting my first tattoo and my ears re-pierced for the umpteenth time; and failed to get my room cleaned. ._.
What are your plans for April? I am hoping to get a bicycle and start going for bike rides. I want to start blogging again – but being on WP.com is driving me crazy. I miss plugins. :'( I also want to make some progress in the cleaning/decorating of my room.
Did you do anything creative recently? Does making my first printable count…even if I’ve no clue of how it actually looks when printed out? No? Then, nope – my creativity has been hibernating. Although – I did find 3 of my novels that I’ve started…
Okay…so less about me – your 2nd Uni class sounds like fun. It might be interesting to see what materials you can use to create art with, and congratulaitons on the 4.0! Happy Belated 29th Birthday – how I wish I was turning 29 this year. ;P Finally, I’m glad to hear that the weight loss/health is going well and I cannot wait to see/read about the completed kitchen.
Glad that you are attending University which teach traditional design format you know we need to at least enliven it because we are too attached to computer nowadays XD. I wish you good luck on it. Belated happy 29th birthday to you π Congrats on almost finishing the kitchen renovation. Looking forward to your post about it π

Wow it sounds like you had a busy month. Congrats on starting your new courses in Uni and for the grades which are wonderful! Happy belated Birthday! Can’t wait to see the renovated kitchen pictures. I wish our landlords would renovate ours.
Congrats on the 4.0 GPA! That’s awesome! ? I hope the more hands on classes are enjoyable. I’m sure you’ll love it!
I look forward to seeing the final renovation when you’re done! So exciting.
Happy belated birthday! β€οΈ
Congratulations on achieving a 4.0 GPA! That is so awesome. π I know you’ll keep kicking butt!
Woot! Way to go for 29 year olds! (I am 29 as well haha). It’s the 30 that I’m not looking forward too. Ha!
That is great that you are still going strong with no soda and still losing weight! Congrats!
