  1. Apparently, I was notified of being on WordPress for about a year? Or something like XD Just keep losing weight for May, and pass my finals and last tests. I know I can do it!

  2. I can’t believe your blog turns 10 soon! I have no ideas for you because i suck at that sort of thing, but it’s very exciting ๐Ÿ˜€

  3. Oh my god the bracelet is too cute. I canโ€™t remember the last time I tried to pixel design something… it was a few years ago, and so shit. ๐Ÿ˜› It was much worse than what I managed to do back in the day. Like 2008. Wow.

I have confidence that you will get on the kitchen soon haha. Sometimes things take months to get around to, but if weโ€™re determined we will get to them eventually. Other things we may be less keen on, and the more time passes, the more we realise that we donโ€™t want to do something anymore, but I know the kitchen calls your name. ๐Ÿ˜›

What did you do in April?
I did a few things related to work but not actually work โ€“ like go to a conference, take part in an Hour of Code event, and organise our companyโ€™s lunch presentations, but yeah, that was good. And I went to Nickโ€™s graduation, which was the highlight of the month I think.

What are your plans for May?
I think I will mostly be preparing things for our Europe trip ๐Ÿ™‚

Have you ever created pixel art?
YES LOL SO LONG AGOOOOOO XD

What was the last milestone that your blog celebrated?
OOooooohOo yes ten years is a long time, Kya! I had my blog at different URLs so I am not sure when I should start counting from. So I never really celebrated a blog birthday after I stopped blogging at Heartdrops.org ๐Ÿ™ I donโ€™t know when I should do it. I opened Heartdrops.org on the 11th October 2008. But I moved to Hey Georgie on the 2nd December 2012. :S I feel like in a sense my blog would be eight years this year, but… hmm. I would be keen to hear your thoughts. ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. Oh, wow! 10 years is huge Kya! ๐Ÿ˜€ My blog just turned five last month, but I didn’t make a huge deal out of it (even though it’s a pretty big accomplishment!).

I actually just started watching Game of Thrones with my friends. I haven’t watched the previous seasons but I’ve read some of the books so I have a general idea of what’s going on. I watched a lot of TV in April as well. Sometimes I just get on these kicks where I just want to watch everything. But I also did a lot of reading. My favorite read this month (and for the year!) was The Martian by Andy Weir.

In May… I plan to graduate with my undergraduate degree (woot woot!) and move back home to St. Louis (Woot! but also bittersweet). So a lot of big life changes coming up! I am nervous and scared but also excited.

  5. That’s awesome that you’re doing well on your goal weight! I’m also glad you’re on Miitomo now. I hope you’re enjoying it ๐Ÿ˜€ Your pixel charm bracelet is so cute! What a good idea!

Wow, 10 years is a long time! I lose track of my sites’ birthdays, so I rarely do anything to celebrate them now. When I had less sites, I’d put up a special layout to celebrate birthdays. The last time I celebrated my blog’s birthday was in 2013 for its 5th year; I wrote an entry giving 5 facts about the site and domain.

My April was mainly being busy at work and then working on cosplay at home. I’m pretty much doing the same for May, haha.

  6. It sounds like you’re doing great with class so far! Even though you got an 82, it’s not the end and there’s time to make up for it :). Congratulations on being 30% into your goal weight! Cutting soda off yields some serious results. The pixel charm bracelet is adorable~~~

    1. I just started the quarter in April, so I’m busy with school X’D.
    2. May… I’m looking forward to wrapping up the school year at this point!
    3. I haven’t made pixel art before, but I adore the skills of people who do!
    4. I think the last milestone was celebrating 5 years of my blog back in December ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. Woah, 10 years! Has it really been that long. I think we must have met when I was 19 so this makes a lot of sense.

So glad you’ve had such a wonderful April ๐Ÿ˜€

  8. Oh, wow! 10 years old? That’s a long lifespan for a blog! <3

Looks like your study is going well! 82 is a good grade, but I hope you can get something better next time ๐Ÿ˜€ And I hope you'll finish the kitchen, too! I still want to see the finished results.

My last blogging milestone was when it turned 13 last August, hahaha! It became a teenager ^^

  9. Congratulations on ten years! <3 I think a blog history post would be fun! I like looking at other people's old layouts hahaha.

I think you're doing really well with the kitchen renovation! Might have taken a long time, but it's more than most have done. ๐Ÿ˜€

  10. Sounds like you had a pretty busy month! My April seems to have gone by in a complete blur and I have no idea what I did or anything last month… not so good n’D

  11. Browsed your Deviantart and your illustrations are cute. Keep on making more. You had a productive April since you did a lot of studying and I hope you do well in your subject, I am sure you’ll get a higher grade than the previous grade you got ๐Ÿ™‚

What did you do in April?
-Oh I did a lot this month, Went to province, cooked meals on my own for the first time, went to an adventure park, defended my thesis, started the web programming course on school. You can read it on my blog ๐Ÿ™‚ Btw, congratulations on your 10th year anniversary. It was cool having your blog running for a long time.

What are your plans for May?
-There will be a lot of job hunting and coffee shop exploring this month. I also started to conceptualize designs for the wedding invitation I am working on for my cousin.

Have you ever created pixel art?
-No I haven’t though I tried digital paint before but Im no pro yet

What was the last milestone that your blog celebrated?
    – Since, I was on and off on blogging, I didnt have a chance to celebrate my blog’s birthday but Im really hoping that jeaniebeans.ph would be my forever blog.

  12. That bracelet project has me excited! What a creative idea, I can’t wait to make something for it. ๐Ÿ˜€ I LOVE MAKING PIXEL ART!!!

My April was fairly uneventful, although I did discover audio books. No big plans for May accept some minor hand surgery.

I don’t really celebrate the milestone of my blog, or really keep track of them. xD; My current one is almost a year old now though!

  13. Well at least you’re almost done with the kitchen!

I love pixels. They can be fun to make! And I love that bracelet! So cute!

And an early happy birthday to your blog!

  14. Wow, 10 years??? That is amazing, congratulations! I can’t even keep my blog for a year or two. Haha maybe you could host a giveaway? ๐Ÿ™‚

You have other things you did, despite not able to finish the kitchen so I think that’s okay ๐Ÿ™‚

My April went fast because I got occupied with a lot of things. I am excited for May because it’s my birth month and I am finally going to a summer getaway! ๐Ÿ™‚

  15. So your blog’s having a birthday!! :cake: :***: :music:
I had my birthday on the 30th of April, same day as Holy Saturday (Easter Eve)…
& now it’s already May, time seems to fly.. Have a happy month Kya!
    (Your pixels are cute!)

  16. Man, I wish that not drinking soda would help me with my weight. I think I’m on too many medications that do not help. Still, I do not miss not drinking it. It felt like such a horrible thing to be always cracking open and chugging.

  17. Sounds like you had a fun, busy April! ๐Ÿ™‚ I did my kitchen last year and we’ve only just stopped buying things for it…crazy!

  18. Renovations can take a long while. owo

I love the idea of a pixel charm bracelet and want to make some pixels to go along with the pixel charm bracelet, I just have other things to do, too, before I can get into pixeling again. :s

Hope May goes well for you. <3

  19. OH MY GOSHHH! The quilt covers are just PERFECT! I need it!

I’ve always found that watching TV/movies are quicker than reading a book, EVEN THOUGH I absolutely love to read. I just wish there were more time in a day. xD I totally forgot about Letterboxd… o.o
