Scattered like memories from the past

15 years

Firstly, it is the 1st of October, so we all know what that means!? The domain competition is officially closed. I shall be looking over all the applications and deciding on three lucky winners in the next few days. I know I have received many wonderful applications so it’s going to be hard to pick!

My Dad has been okay. He has to go to Sydney tomorrow for a meeting with a specialist on Friday to give him more information and find out when they will do the operation. He does have bowel cancer, but the part we can be thankful for is that it is only in the one place and has not spread! It sounds strange for my brain to register to be thankful for that, but if it had spread I think I would be a total mess!

I have been reading so much this week, I just can’t stop. I read Breaking Dawn, Chatroom and My Darling, My Hamburger. My favourite from the three was actually Braking Dawn. Chatroom and My Darling, My Hamburger were, to be perfectly honest, boring. I plan on doing some more book shopping either tonight or in the morning, because Seek Books has a PayPal special of free shipping within in Australia, can’t pass that up!

Spiritually things have been moving forward quite well! I have a new contact and spiritual aid who has been such a great support and help. I know if this was something I was doing on my own it would be a lot harder and I am forever grateful for their time and patience they have given me.

  1. I am so excited to know who you will pick! I have been visiting Kya.nu for the past few days! XD It looks like I’ll be refreshing Kya.nu every hour!

  2. I hope your dad gets better soon. Cancer is never a good thing. For the patient or the family. Stay positive!

I’ve wanted to read the Twilight series. It sounds good. Have fun book shopping. It’s one of my favorite things to do as well.

  3. I am keep you and your dad in my thoughts. I am also thankful it hasn’t spread to other organs. My grandfather would have survived his lung cancer if his doctors at the Veterans hospital had detected it early enough before it spread to his spine. I’m so happy your dad caught it somewhat early.

Good luck with sorting out the domain apps! πŸ™‚

  4. haha You are so evil with the domain competition. Always a Slytherin, eh Kya? ;D Just kidding of course. πŸ˜›

I am so unbelievably relieved that your dad’s cancer hasn’t spread. That is such fantastic news. πŸ™‚

I would like to recommend Love Walked In by Santos (technically De los Santos I think). I have yet to finish it, but my best friend loved it and I love it as well. As for Twilight, it can’t really be topped by anything but Harry Potter in my eyes. πŸ™‚ I’m so in love with it it’s a little crazy (well you know that already ;)).

I wish I had someone to help me spiritually. I would love for you to explain what your “beliefs” are exactly. I’m wondering how similar we are. I find myself explaining to so many people what I believe in. No one ever seems to understand (aside from my boyfriend and best friend). My mother absolutely hates that I’m not a super religious Christian. It drives me crazy…blah. But I am so happy for you. πŸ™‚

(sorry for the super long comment)

  5. I decided to not participate since I couldn’t
think of a domain name D: all the best to all
who entered and to you, too, kya, to choose
    the winners ^^

I’m thankful that your dad’s cancer did not
spread either. don’t worry, I know what you
mean about being thankful for that (:

    plus, you’re missed! (:

  6. I’m glad it didn’t spread to any other part. I’m sure he will have it successfully removed and then he can have a speedy recovery. Everything will work out just fine.

Breaking Dawn was a fantastic book. I enjoyed reading it so much. I guess sometime this week I’ll be visiting the bookstore.

  7. I just read that your dad has cancer. πŸ™ Reminds me of when my mom got breast cancer. I’m sure you’re dad will be just fine. *sends out lots of love and luck*

As for Breaking Dawn, I’m glad to hear you enjoyed it, even if so many hated it. I’m not into the series myself, but it’s always nice to hear when something brings joy to someone’s life.
