Molly was a strong feline, who knew what she wanted and wasn’t afraid to demand immediate attention. It was that strength that saw her live a long life, well into her late twenties. She developed from a cat who shied from people to loving the company of her humans and snuggling into a warm bed. She was a powerful reminder of my Nanna, who loved her Milly Molly. I promised my Nanna I would care for her animals and it was a commitment I took to heart as I welcomed Molly into our family.

I will miss you and as I whispered to you as you parted this earth, “may you be with Nanna again“, I hope she greeted you with open arms. πŸˆπŸ’–

  1. A very pretty cat. I’m sure she’s happy with your Nanna and other kitties to play with! *hugs* But I am sorry for your loss. Losing an animal or anyone for that matter is always hard.

  2. Losing a pet is so painful. I know exactly what you’re going through.

Molly is accompanied by Puffy, Rascal, and all of the other kitties on Rainbow bridge land. <3

  8. She looks like a beautiful and healthy cat in the pictures you have of her. I am seriously impressed with how long she lived as I’ve never known a cat to make it passed 18 years. I hope my Smudge makes it just as long. <3

  11. I’m so sorry about your loss, Kassy! It’s awesome you took such great care of your Nana’s pet. This post is a really beautiful tribute.

I can’t imagine losing a pet (I haven’t had to yet), so my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!
