Learning to dream

14 years

The course information for the Higher School Certificate is finally available and I shall hopefully send in my application in the next few weeks. I am really excited about this and have been thinking long and hard about what subjects I will take. If I work hard enough I will get an ATAR high enough to seek acceptance into University. This would be a dream come true so I really hope I can push myself far enough to do it! I know I will have to juggle caring for Poppy, online responsibilities and schooling but I think I can! It may mean I might have to rearrange some things online or seek greater help, but it should be okay?

  1. Ancient History
  2. Business Studies
  3. Earth and Environmental Science
  4. English Standard (if I work hard enough I will try and get into advanced)
  5. Fundamentals Of English
  6. Modern History

They are the courses I have decided to apply for. I am really excited about this.

Annoyingly we had a power outage for close to 17 hours last night and this morning. It was really annoying, but thank god it wasn’t any longer! I was itching to get online and do whatever it is that I do. <)

  1. Good luck juggling all your responsibilities! And good luck with school. Earth and Environmental Science sounds interesting!

I thought you might like that quote! πŸ™‚

    Have a great day~

  2. You can do it. Getting back into academics can be a wonderful experience, there’s so much to learn and oftentimes with people who are passionate about learning. Take it one day at a time, your dreams can come true.

  3. Good luck with Kya! I’m sure you will be able to balance your studies and your online life. πŸ™‚ You would, of course, need to have good time management. But I’m sure you’ve taken that into account. πŸ˜‰

Ooo! Ancient History. I’d love to study that. Too bad the History studies we have here in my university are all mixed together (ancient+modern). πŸ™

environmental studies can be fun. I’m taking it now as well.
