On Monday the 29th of January, we said goodbye to our little man, Kitdung. Kitdung was a ginger cat with a gigantic personality. From the moment he arrived in our life in December 2009, he was a whirlwind of mischief and affection. His climbing antics caused havoc on clocks, printers, lamps, flowerpots, ornaments and anything in his path. As a kitten, his favourite pastime was to claw his way up your body and sit on your head, declaring himself king.
While his mischievous ways may have caused mayhem, he was also very affectionate. If he loved you, you knew about it, with his face in yours and the claws kneading for a sharp cuddle. If you were not in his favour… well, he might banish you with a spray of his own personal scent.
Kitdung always demanded an audience. It didn’t matter what time that was, day or night. If his loud, boisterous melody did not rouse you, his roaming on your body or spiky cuddles might.
We have so many different and unique memories of this special boy. He gave us so much joy and brought a vibrant ray of sunshine into our lives. Goodbye, my little Kitdung. We will always love you and have your memory in our hearts.
I plan to eventually create a children’s book based on the antics of this beautiful little man. He created so much happiness that I would like the memory of Kitdung to live on. I can’t say when that will be, maybe once I have had enough time to heal and recover from his passing.

I’m so sorry for your loss ❤️ The photos you have of him are gorgeous, he was a beautiful cat. Creating a children’s book as a tribute sounds like a very sweet idea. Then he can continue to spread happiness long into the future!
I’m so sorry. *hug* He sounds like an amazing little guy. I like how he would plant himself on heads. XD I’m not a cat person but he sounds like an awesome cat.

What a beautiful boy. I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my first boy 2 years ago and still miss him dearly. He lives on in the oldest of my two cats as they were inseparable and he taught him so much (the other one never got to know him). I have his tag from his collar on my keyring and it brings me peace at times rubbing it and knowing he’ll always be with us. I’m glad you have such beautiful photos of him as a reminder of the memories.
