A happy kind of day

15 years

I had a really lovely day today, and I am so thankful for that. I woke up to find an old friend had visited (the one who recently had a baby and I went to visit a few months ago) and it was really such a wonderful suprise! She also brought the adorable little bub along and it was great to see him as well! We spent several hours talking, playing with toys, ah, I mean showing the baby lots of toys .. (haha 😮 ), drinking cups of tea and I even held the baby. I normally freak out about this type of thing, but I was fine. I walked him into my room and showed him all my books, toys and whatever was around. He was very interested. I made sure to tell him “Hey little dude, I will be writing a book for you soon” he did a little burb, so I think he was excited about it. Haha.

I spent the other part of the day downloading music from iTunes, browsing random websites, shopping for books, and just making sure Dad was alright and what not. Oh yes, and I spent some time making a birthday gift and writing an email for the sweet Raine who has a birthday today! Happy Birthday love!

Finally, I have been a bit slow at replying and returning comments to visitors at the moment. I apologise and I will get around to this eventually! Hopefully tomorrow or at least some time this week. *noodlebrain*

  1. Aww! 🙂 Babies are so cute, but they make me so uncomfortable. haha I can’t usually hold them either, it scares me. I’m so glad you had such a lovely day though. ^_^

    Happy birthday, Raine!! 🙂

  2. OBAMARAMA! 😀

Aww, little “bub”! LOVE IT. 😀 I love babies and children. They make me feel so happy and liberated and free. I’m glad that you didn’t freak out with him – that would be a bit worrying if he was unstable..! *gonk* I can’t to have kids of my own… maybe then I will send one over to you for you to play and cuddle and then you can send him/her back. 😀 HARRRR.

Thank you so much my poodle brain for the lovely birthday wish – and also Hannah for the wishes too! 😀 I had such a wonderful time this year, because I realised just how lucky I am to be surrounded by such loving friends and family. :*)

    LOVE. GONK.

Raine last blogged: Come on up for the rising.
