Cloud Stationery Set

8 years

Number 22 on my 30 Before 30 was to design a stationery set.

Because I love clouds, I thought I would make a design featuring some happy cute clouds.

I wish that I had purchased the glossy stickers, because they would have looked a lot nicer that way, but I know for next time! ?

I purchased the items from Vista Print (Australia) because it worked out to be the cheapest option and was $57.43 with postage. Right now I made these for myself, however you can buy the design on some other items via RedBubble or Society6. ?

  1. These are too cute! I usually just print things off myself (obviously… with a sticker shop, I already have all the supplies I need). I love the pen and notepad (things I can’t do myself). This post is actually making me excited to have items professionally made for my shop!

    1. I love the things that you print, and really find the posts you make on creating things so interesting. Can’t wait to see your creations. πŸ˜€

  2. They look very cute, Kya! πŸ™‚ I love your illustrations and I like that you chose clouds for your first attempt.

    1. If you’re a designer where do you have your designs printed?
I rarely have my designs printed, I designed a really crap t-shirt a while ago but it didn’t turn out well as I had done it through school and they chose a crap printing company. I got my old business cards done at Vistaprint too because they were cheap.

    2. What should I design for my next stationery set?
Not sure, but I love everything you do! Loved that Christmas card you sent me the other year too, that you designed yourself. I wouldn’t mind seeing giraffes as you love those, though I think I would challenge you to do dogs. Not sure I have seen many dog illustrations from you. πŸ˜€

    3. What is your favourite shop to buy stationery?
Typo, though I don’t really buy much stationery anymore.

    1. I think I have only ever done one dog illustration and it didn’t look very good, so your suggestion is a really great one. πŸ˜€ Thank you.

  3. Those are too cute! And so happy looking! *shall look into those sites for buying things with the design* XD

    1. Not really a designer so can’t say.
    2. Ferrets! XD
    3. Don’t have one

  4. Aww, so cute! I just adore your style <3 For your next set, how about a fantasy theme? Dragons, unicorns, fairies etc? πŸ™‚

I love stationary but rarely buy any. I get a new notebook from the local bookstore every once in a while, but that's about it. Which is a shame because there are so many beautiful sets out there, yours included. I just don't have much use for it.

    1. Fantasy concepts are so great and so many different ways that you can present them. Thanks so much for the suggestion! πŸ˜€

  5. I love the design! The clouds are so cute, and I think it looks great on everything, especially the notebook. I also really like how it looks on the pen πŸ˜€ I think it’d be cool if you did a cute animal design next!

I don’t print any designs, just my photos, though I’ve been meaning to print some business cards and was considering Vista Print too. I kind of impulse buy stationery. As I see something in stores that I like, I just get it XD Lately I’ve been really liking things by Paperchase!

  6. OH WOW THIS IS ADORABLE! I also used Vista Print to print some designs for my mom before but it must be amazing to have designed your own pen! Your illustrations are really cute so you can’t go wrong with the next design no matter what you choose! Maybe a kitty or a puppy, going back to the basics? πŸ™‚

  7. It’s adorable. Congratulations are in order. xD

I’ve always wanted to design stationery, but it’s not priority or me right now. i do love collecting stationery though, specifically kawaii stationery. I personally like KawaiiYa, although they only ship to the US.

  8. Omg, this is so exciting! I love them, I’ve been looking for cute stationary for a while now and this is so adorable. I’ll have a look!! Very proud of you!

  9. Ahhh this is so cute! I love them. I was super excited about these when I saw you post the picture of them on Instagram, hehe. You should do a whole weather theme with the clouds! Sunny/Rainy/Snowy– the works. ^-^ So there’s a weather design for all types of stationery moods.

  10. This is so cute!!! You should start selling things with your designs on them, like on Etsy or something.

Hmmm, why not do Cats next, as you love your cats.

  11. I have always wanted to print out my artwork. Make a custom journal or something! You’re so creative!!! πŸ˜€ I think it might be cute to see some tiny fairies in your style!

  12. Kya, this is adorable!!!! One thing I find myself looking for is cute stationery printed on paper that is fountain pen-friendly. Which is not as easy as it sounds!
